Accessing the Official Opportunity Website
Overview
This article explains how to view and interpret lead or contract opportunity details in Lead Pursuits.
Lead Details
After filtering and selecting a relevant lead, the next step is to review its details.
- Click the Expand Row (+) button next to a lead entry.

- Review details across three key tabs:
- Lead Summary

- Document Result
- Document Result

Note: The Document Result tab only appears if Document Finder is used to filter relevant content within lead documents.
Lead Summary

The Lead Summary provides a high-level overview of the lead, including:
- Core Need/Objective
- Estimated Budget/Value
- Key Scope Highlights
- Key Eligibility/Qualification Criteria
- Other Critical Dates
- Potential Quality Indicators/Red Flags
Document Result

The Document Finder helps locate specific terms within lead documents, making it easier to access relevant details without manual searching.
Depending on the lead, search results in Document Result may include documents covering:
- Project Specifications (e.g. survey and data collection, travel demand model improvements, and geographic information system integration)
- Terms & Conditions (e.g. compliance requirements, data confidentiality, deliverable expectations, and contractor responsibilities.)
- Affidavits (e.g. contractor certifications and sworn attestations related to bid qualifications).
Accessing the Official Opportunity Website
- Click the View Lead button located at the far right of the lead row.

- Redirection: The user will be redirected to the official source of the bid posting, (typically a government website or procurement portal). This allows a user to review the full details and requirements of the opportunity directly from the source.
If a lead aligns with the company’s business goals, the user has the option to pursue it. For details, refer to Pursuing A Lead.
FAQs
Where can I find bid submission instructions?
Bid submission guidelines can either be found under the Lead Summary tab or the official opportunity website.
Can I apply for a bid after the due date has passed?
Once the due date has passed, submissions are no longer accepted, and the opportunity is considered closed.
